Piedmont Contract Update

The Piedmont collective bargaining agreement was signed on November 5th and raises went into effect on the date. Raises and lump sum bonuses will be reflected in November 23 paychecks.

The CWA Piedmont Bargaining Committee received the election results from BallotPoint, the independent company that oversaw the voting process. The Tentative Agreement between CWA and Piedmont has been ratified.

Our CWA bargaining team met with the company’s bargaining team from November 7-9 and continued working toward a fair and equitable contract. Talks and proposals were focused on economics for all three days.

During meetings with the company on May 17 and 18, a total of 13 proposals and counter proposals passed between the bargaining committees. We reached Tentative Agreements on Article 6, Hours of Service and Article 14, Leaves of Absence.
