CWA and PIW met to bargain on March 6th and March 7th, 2019. Improvements were made concerning the patient care grievance process. Safety continues to be one of the members' top concerns being addressed during these rounds of negotiations.
CWA and PIW met to discuss - among other issues - speeding up the process of negotiations so that the members can look forward to a new and improved contract. Stay strong brothers and sisters and watch for mobilization activities.
Negotiations with PIW continued on Tuesday, November 27. The Bargaining Committee continued working on remaining contract language proposals so they can move the topic of negotiations from contract language to economic proposals.

Bargaining resumed between CWA and Windstream this week. After days of fighting to hold off many of the givebacks and getting members' issues addressed, the Bargaining Team reached a tentative agreement on all four contracts!
The CWA Piedmont Bargaining Committee received the election results from BallotPoint, the independent company that oversaw the voting process. The Tentative Agreement between CWA and Piedmont has been ratified.
CWA's joint District 1 and District 2-13 Bargaining Committee reached a Tentative Agreement with Dex Media. The new 2-year agreement raises the base wage of BA’s for the first time in several years and retains several key benefits.
Dex YP members are working without a contract after Dex refused an extension request. There should be no changes in any terms and conditions of employment. If anyone is placed on any discipline, call your local IMMEDIATELY!!
The CWA Bargaining Team and Windstream reached an agreement to extend the current contract until Friday, November 9, 2018. During the extension, all members' rights under the existing contract remain in full effect.

The Union Bargaining Team met with Windstream to ask questions and have meaningful discussions about the issues that are important to the Bargaining Unit. Unfortunately, the Company had very little to offer.
