CWA Local 2204 sponsored the Western Virginia Labor Federation precinct walks on Saturday, October 6th. Participants knocked on union members' doors to talk about the candidates who are best for working people in Virginia.
The CWA Bargaining Team and Windstream reached an agreement to extend the current contract until Friday, November 9, 2018. During the extension, all members' rights under the existing contract remain in full effect.

The Union Bargaining Team met with Windstream to ask questions and have meaningful discussions about the issues that are important to the Bargaining Unit. Unfortunately, the Company had very little to offer.
Negotiations resumed on Wednesday. The Bargaining Team passed several proposals held discussions on issues including the Pension Plan and payment for Mandatory Meetings, and will be jointly addressing Health Care - the most difficult issue to tackle.
