The company opening statements may have been cut from past bargaining sessions. A review of the dire position of the business.
The Union, in opening statements, advised Dex Media, that our members expect to be recognized for the contributions they make towards the business. When will Dex Media realize that their employees are not the problem?
On Thursday Dex made proposals to significantly alter the Benefit Plans, amend vacation allotments, Amend Holidays and reduce Personal days to pay for the “winter closing”.
Initial Union proposals include successorship language, A rewrite of Reduction in Force to include voluntary separation with payment, Virtual office issues and Alternative Work Proposals.
