Negotiations with PIW resumed this month. Safe staffing ratios is a top priority at the table, along with payroll errors. PIW continues to disrespect its staff and patients. With the members' strength, the Bargaining Team is fighting back.
Discussions between CWA and Comcast centered around Discipline, Attendance, Vacation, Standby, Work Protections and Motor Vehicle Accidents. The CWA Bargaining Committee thanks each member who joined the bargaining table this week.
During Thursday's bargaining session discussion topics included discipline, the probationary period, and attendance in the Comcast Corliss contract. To show unity, the Bargaining Committee asks members to wear RED throughout negotiations.
Wednesday's bargaining session was spent in discussions and asking questions about Comcast’s intentions on proposals related to changes to standby, discipline, probationary period, absence, and vacation.
