CWA leaders are engaging with employers to ensure that they are providing CWA members with comprehensive safety and prevention measures in an environment that encourages open and free communication without fear of reprisal or negative impacts on pay or continued employment.
At the T&T Conference, 200 delegates and CWA leaders showed solidarity with Nokia workers fighting to secure a fair contract. Local 13000 is gearing up for mobilization at Comcast Corliss, and Local 13101 reached a TA in Kent County!
On Friday evening, the CWA Local 13101 Bargaining Committee reached a Tentative Agreement with Kent County. The Agreement includes a 3-year CBA, as well as enhancements to attendance awards, work attire, overtime calculation, and Callout Pay.
Some progress has been made at the bargaining table, but CWA Local 13000 Bargaining Team reports there are still many issues to discuss. Local 13000 Reps will be reaching out over the next week to share upcoming mobilization activities.
